Cathedral of the Rockies’ Downtown Campus will be hosting a Christmas market for local nonprofits on Saturday, November 15th from 11 am to 3 pm and Sunday, November 16th from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in the lobby outside of the Emmaus Center and the Bishop’s Lounge, and in the Fellowship Hall.
The Alternative Christmas Market is an open market that Cathedral hosts each year in November. Local nonprofits set up booths to sell ethically made goods and trinkets to raise funds for their community outreach programs. Supported vendors include Interfaith Sanctuary, Habitat for Humanity, Faces of Hope, and Artisans for Hope. All profits made from the Alternative Christmas market go back into their programs. On Saturday, November 15th only, the Alternative Christmas Market will also host a scratch-made bread and soup lunch in the Fellowship Hall! Everyone is invited to eat and enjoy lunch together while they shop!
The Alternative Christmas Market is a great place to do unique Christmas shopping while supporting local non-profits at the same time. Whether your passion is for making a difference with housing insecurity, food insecurity, foster children, refugees, fair trade goods, animals, support for victims of abuse, or education of young children, there is an organization you can support and learn more about!

Wintry Market
Wintry Market is Idaho's premier curated Winter maker's market showcasing the best of art, craft and design.
This event is an upscale and inventive indie art, craft and vintage show in Boise every November named the best holiday bazaar in Idaho by Food & Wine magazine and one of the best in the West by Sunset magazine. Wintry Market consists of innovative and original items produced using traditional art/craft methods by 100+ regional artists & crafters. For the last 15 years we have prided ourselves as being an affordable marketplace for one-of-a-kind goods.
Event Details: We are excited to present our 14th year of Wintry Market in 2025 on Friday Nov 21st from 4-9pm and Saturday Nov 22nd from 9am to 5pm on the main floor of the Boise Convention Centre downtown Boise on the Grove Plaza at 850 W. Front Street, Boise, ID 83702 (entry through the front doors facing the fountain only). Food, coffee & drinks (alcoholic + non) available for purchase on site (no outside food or drinks allowed except water bottles).
Tickets: Admission is $10 for Friday (good both days) $5 for Saturday. Advanced ticket sales are live now with a BOGO sale until 11/7 with code BOGOWM25.
Children 12 and under are free. Cash + cards accepted at the door during the event.
Volunteer: We'd love to have you volunteer with a friend or by yourself! We have a fleet of amazing volunteers and it's such a fun way to give back to the community and get in the holiday spirit. Plus, you get into the Market free all weekend and get a very sweet swag bag as a gift filled with items from our artisans! Find our more here.

Thanks to you, we’re honored to have become one of the biggest and best indie holiday fairs around. We know, like you do, that our makers are extraordinary, and the quality of their handmade wares unique and limited. We are definitely not our grandmas’ Christmas bazaar (though none of us would be here without their creativity, tenacity and legacy) and definitely not for everyone. Our artisans can be edgy - they push the boundaries of art and craft, think outside the box, are sometimes both naughty and nice, and take risks. Wintry Market champions makers of all kinds.
Small Business Saturday
Shop small and local this holiday season! Participating businesses in Downtown Boise, which holds the largest concentration of independent businesses in the State of Idaho, will host specials, promotions, and pop-ups. We are excited to be part of this in 2025! Come shop our refugee artisan made wares 10am-3pm on Saturday November 29th.

Holiday "Alternative" Bazaar
On November 12th we will be at the Cathedral of the Rockies for their Alternative Bazaar. We will be there all morning selling products from our artisans’ showroom and will be joining other nonprofit organizations. It is open to the public and the purpose is to provide parishioners and locals an alternative way to do their holiday shopping--and a way to support local organizations.
