Artisans For Hope is a community-based volunteer-driven nonprofit organization in the resettlement city of Boise, Idaho. Our goal is to assist incoming refugees to develop the skill base, language acquisition, and confidence to successfully integrate into their new community. The refugees learn sewing skills and knitting skills and make items to sell. They receive 75% of the sale price of the goods. Services include training and supplies to expand textile skills. Opportunities to market handcrafted items, ESL and community knowledge and basic skills for employment and entrepreneurship. It provides a safe and friendly environment to foster friendships and healthy connections.
